Birth Certificate Information

The Office of Vital Records have alerted us to longer than usual wait times for birth certificates requested online. It can take up to a few weeks for online requests to be processed at this time. However, if individuals can go in person to their county health offices, they will likely receive copies of their birth certificates that same day.

Additionally, Tennessee can only provide copies of in-state birth certificates. For interested families needing out-of-state documentation, they will need to follow that state’s protocol for obtaining these documents.
